Random Shrandom
• Is the only son of rock legend Trapper Martin. He basically idolizes the ground his father walks on.
• Didn't really know his mother. Which is probably why his father is not just his rock but his biggest inspiration in life. He models his own life to be half the man his father is.
• Has grown up in the rock industry.
• Is the nephew of Cameron Martin, and couldn't be more fucking proud to call that crazy bastard his uncle.
• His god-father is Damien Deth, which makes Brandan Deth, Damien's son, his god-brother. He basically grew up with Brandan so the two are close, not just in age but in relationship.
• Plays guitar and has since he was young. Music has always been a part of his life.
• Is in a band called Black Owt. Originally, was called Walking Contradiction, which is based off one of his god-brother's own songs.
• Spent many summers at CCL when his father was head counselor there. It's where he met Roni Clark. He adores that girl and really puts her on a pedestal just because of how close they got at camp.
• Calls his father's friends, Christian and Hawkeye, Uncle just out of respect and habit. Despite Christian not being much older than him.
• Has never really "hit it big" in music yet, he mostly plays small shows here and there but he has an album out which has received some good feed through the internet, myspace, and other online media outlets.
• Loves being outdoors. Huge fan of just going out and doing whatever to keep from being cooped up.
• Relatively a respectful person. Unless you piss him off and then he has quite the temper. But that's only if really pushed.
• Generally fun to be around so get to know him.
• Has been the supporting act of his god brother Brandan's band, Deth's Requiem, first leg fall united states tour in 2009 and an international tour as well. That was Black Owt's first BIG exposure.
• Black Owt also was on as one of three supporting acts on PRIMAL SCREAM's International tour for the Carnival Of Sins in 2009. It was at his father's request and Tristan couldn't say no, not that he'd want to.
• Black Owt has been working closely with Tristan's close friend Roni, working her in on some songs as well as cutting some new songs with her on vocals. They'll be touring this summer on the Women of Rock tour all summer long.
